
Charles Barkley isn’t executed denouncing Kendrick Perkins and his controversial feedback about NBA MVP voting.
Barkley cracked a joke Thursday throughout TNT’s “Contained in the NBA” that referenced the ESPN analyst, who has been beneath fireplace this week for implying there may be racial bias in MVP voting and that white writers are favoring two-time MVP Nikola Jokić, who’s white.
All of it started when Shaquille O’Neal revealed Bucks ahead Giannis Antetokounmpo as his decide for the 2022-23 NBA MVP.
“I do know they’ve a whole lot of speak on who’s the MVP,” O’Neal stated.
Moments later, Barkley chimed in and stated, “You’re solely voting for him as a result of he’s black.”
The “Contained in the NBA” crew, together with Jamal Crawford, who was subbing in for Kenny Smith, shared amusing.
Crawford then summoned host Ernie Johnson to take over the commentary.
